- San Diego should want a world class venue for a world class city.
- A new stadium would not only be a stadium for the Chargers, but a stadium for San Diego. With a new venue, San Diego can attract many different major events to San Diego.
- Super Bowl, NFL football, the Holiday Bowl, San Diego State football, high school football, rodeos, circuses, Olympic trials, NCAA championships (track, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey), motor sports, major league soccer, concerts, conventions, meetings, etc.
- Primary Economic Impact
- Direct spending, indirect spending due to multiplier effect, jobs and earnings, tax revenue.
- Secondary Economic Impact
- tourism, national and international city exposure, prestige, community pride.
- Tax dollars will be repaid back to San Diego by having two Super Bowls hosted here.
- Sports teams are part of the cultural fabric of our city, just as places like the Zoo, SeaWorld, libraries, symphonies and museums.
