The Fans, Taxpayers and Business Alliance (FTB Alliance) is an organization that was formed to demonstrate that San Diego sports fans, taxpayers and businesses can come together to keep the Chargers in San Diego.

The future of football in San Diego is at stake. If Qualcomm Stadium is not replaced, our region may lose more than the Chargers. Super Bowls, the Holiday and Poinsettia Bowl games, as well as SDSU Aztec football may become part of our past and not of our future.

Replacing Qualcomm Stadium is about fiscal responsibility. Today, the stadium costs the City of San Diego millions of dollars a year to operate. It already has more than $50 million in deferred maintenance and that number will continue to climb each year.

We encourage everyone in San Diego to look at a stadium site as a community asset that can provide a positive economic return to the region. We do not view the possible construction of a new stadium as being just a stadium for the Chargers, but rather, a stadium for all of San Diego.
